The Government of the US Virgin Islands is implementing a new eProcurement system called GVIBUY. GVIBUY will transform the procurement and purchasing processes for the Government of the US Virgin Islands and allow suppliers to do business with government more efficiently.
GVIBUY, which will be implemented in early 2022, will streamline the procure-to-pay processes across all executive level agencies and departments, creating efficiencies and eliminating paper-based processes. The Marketplace shopping feature of GVIBUY will provide easy searching and requisitioning from contracts and Central Stores. The new system will also track overall Territory spend, resulting in accurate spend data for strategic sourcing and savings to the Territory. Additionally, GVIBUY will increase competition by making it easy and transparent for suppliers to do business with the Government of the US Virgin Islands.
